If King Tut has to sit through eighth grade one more time, he'll probably mummify himself. But immortality has its costs, and eternal school just happens to be one of them. After a field trip gone way wrong, the evil uncle Tut locked in his tomb 3300 years ago resurfaces, and Uncle Horemheb wants revenge.
While trying to decide between killing his uncle and staying away from him like a plague of scarab beetles, Tut runs straight into the Cult of Set. If he's not careful, his future will be about as bright as a solar eclipse.
With the help of his guardian, Gil, his new best friend, Henry, his one-eyed cat, Horus, and the mysterious new girl, Tia, Tut needs to get to find a way to make everything right before he runs out of time.
